**What you will be doing and will be responsible for**:
Saverglass Australia is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead their sales function across Victoria and New South Wales. This position will be required to travel and be on the road significantly, including regionally. A typical week will see you on the road meeting with clients Tuesday-Thursday, and in the office Mondays and Fridays.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Service existing clients.
- Prospect and acquire new business accounts.
- Manage and develop allocated accounts (forecasts, order taking, NPD, price negotiation and supply agreement negotiation).
- Maintain an understanding of the customers' market positioning and sales. environment
- Propose and implement sales strategies.
- Support customers in all New Product Development phases (from product conception to trials, quality specs & production, planning management)
- Negotiate multi-year supply agreements (contracts).
- Achieve assigned budget in terms of volumes and value.
- Report all aspects of business and provide activity reports.
- Control and regularly update customers’ forecasts.
- Credit control, following up on late payments.
**‘What you look like’ and need to demonstrate to be successful’.**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B sales in a relevant industry (preferably with prior exposure to the wine/spirits industry).
- Exceptional relationship building and rapport skills.
- Experience dealing direct with customers.
- Self-driven, and a team player.
- Capability to define targets and action plans**.**:
- Ability to report on regular basis and to follow up defined targets and actions plans.
- Experience in New Product Development in interface with quality, technical, production and supply chain departments.
- Microsoft Office mandatory (Excel), ability to learn and use in-house sales administration ERP and CRM (oracle).
- Availability to travel as required.
- Proven track record of meeting sales objectives.
- Be highly organised and experienced in working in a fast paced environment.
