As a Wholesale Pricing & Strategy Lead, you will play a crucial role as a key member of the Wholesale Energy team. Reporting to the Head of Wholesale Energy, you will provide the team with insightful, accurate, and timely commercial analysis and pricing strategies.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Managing multiple pricing models for current and new market segments, products, and customer services, with a focus on optimizing margins and value metrics.
- Providing financial rigor to support commercial decision making and driving improvements in overall business performance.
- Conducting in depth market analysis, including competitive intelligence, to identify pricing trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Collaborating with cross functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analysing customer data and segmentation to determine effective pricing strategies for different customer segments.
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of pricing strategies and making recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
- Supporting the development of pricing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management for pricing decisions and business planning.
- Developing and maintaining pricing tools, models, and databases to facilitate accurate and efficient pricing analysis.
- Participating in pricing negotiations with key customers and suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Staying up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to pricing in the energy sector.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in wholesale energy pricing, strategy development, and negotiation.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of the wholesale energy market, including regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement pricing strategies that drive profitability and growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a high degree of autonomy.
