**Salary range: $145,378 - $168,130 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.**

**The advertised salary will increase by 3%, effective from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2025**

The Commission is a small agency of around 34 FTE based in the Sydney CBD and working flexibly within hybrid workplace guidelines.

**Role of Mental Health Commission NSW**

The Mental Health Commission of NSW is a statutory agency, working to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the people of NSW. The Commission works with government agencies, peak bodies, community-managed organisations, academics, advocacy groups and service providers. **Primary Purpose of the Role**

The primary purpose of the Manager System Monitoring is to lead and manage a team responsible for monitoring, reviewing and publicly reporting on the mental health and wellbeing of the people of NSW. The role develops outcomes frameworks aligned with whole-of-government statewide strategic plans prepared by the Commission and monitors and reports on metrics identified within these outcome frameworks to drive evidence-based reform.

**Essential Criteria**
- Proven and extensive ability to analyse complex mental health, wellbeing and suicide datasets and metrics.
- Extensive experience in managing teams and developing people, expiring direction and purpose.
- Strong political acumen and proven ability to communicate (written and oral) effectively, work collaboratively, influence, facilitate and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in preparing concise, well-structured reports and documents.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
