**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Regional HR Operations Manager for APAC, in this role you will be responsible for all HR policy and compliance within the APAC region, including the oversight and management of Employee Relations.
- "This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership”_

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Manage all employment policy and compliance programs for APAC Region, including employee relations.
- Review, recommend, and implement human resources policies, procedures, and instructions by monitoring relevant legislative and market changes within the region.
- Collaborate with HR teams to translate legal and regulatory obligations into policies, systems, or process requirements.
- Anticipate potential impacts and recommend changes to human resources policies, programs and practices which are both competitive and cost effective, in line with local legislation.
- Advise on regional work visa compliance matters, including management of immigration data/ metrics, and reporting to ensure compliance.
- Provide regional policy & compliance expertise to regional management and HR Business Partners in the development of human resources programs designed to meet business development requests.
- Establish training programs for new or revised policies or programs and evaluate effectiveness of implementation.
- Work closely with the Policy/Governance Center of Expertise (COE), on issues that require updates to regional HR policy, and other COE’s as required.
- Coordinate periodic review of HR policies, programs and management instructions, recommending revisions to promote internal equity and/or competitiveness within the industry.
- Provide interpretative guidance to regional management and HR concerning the intent of human resource policies.
- Manage and audit all employee relations matters and investigative cases within the region, supporting the Employee Relations Partner as required.
- Troubleshooting HR and/or ER issues that arise on project, within the functions or with BBS and provide advice to HR team on best course of action.
- Interface with project HR as required, ensuring the timely completion of critical human resources activities.
- Manage human resources administration, including selecting, training, and developing assigned staff. Additionally, monitor team performance and initiate necessary human resources actions such as performance evaluations and salary adjustments.
- Manage SAP data integrity and ensuring HR team members are conducting regular and ongoing checks for relevant population.
- Performing other duties as required by the Regional HR Operations Manager.

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 10-13 years of comprehensive HR experience encompassing multiple disciplines such as policy development, employment compliance, employee relations, and project delivery. Alternatively, 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to lead a team of experienced HR professionals.
- Knowledge of employment compliance legislation and law throughout the region.
- Ability to travel as required.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- 8+ years of international project experience, including experience of working within the region in the construction/engineering / project management sector.
- Good working knowledge and prior experience in a large, matrix organization.
