Are you a Diploma trained Educator with a passion for preparing young people for school?

Camden Cottage is a family - oriented 36 place Long Day Care Centre in the beautiful Camden area.
We have been serving the community for nearly 20 years. Known as the pink cottage on the hill, our families come from word of mouth for our family atmosphere, large, natural grounds and high quality programs.

**The opportunity**:
Our 4-5 year group is provided with experiences in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural lessons, music lessons by our early childhood music specialist, pre-lit with our ECT, Auslan lessons, art and craft, cooking, sustainability with our vegie patch and chickens and a fabulous outdoor play area with grass and trees.
The opportunity is to lead this group, reflecting and putting into practice the children's interests and also mentoring our amazing trainees as they develop their skills and work alongside you.
This is a full time position and you need to be willing to work shifts between 7am and 6pm.

**Qualifications**

You must have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a be an ECT.

You will need:
Current working with children check
Current First-Aid
Current child protection training

You will have a sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS, educational theorists and curriculum approaches as well as being excited to stay up-to-date with current research on curriculum.
