We are currently recruiting for an experienced Room Leader/Educational Leader to join our kind, passionate and friendly team in Preschool room. This home-like family feel features delightful natural interiors, an adventurous and nature enclosed back yard along with warm, nurturing consistent, long standing professional educators committed to supporting and educate the most precious children. Their commitment to the community making them a leader in childcare for children between ages 6 weeks - 5 years. Children get opportunities to regular incursions and events based on their interests and cultures. **Your new role**:
This fabulous centre is looking to welcome a passionate and caring Room leader / Early Childhood Teacher/ Education Leader to their pre-school room. You will champion the dedicated and passionate team of early childhood professional educators who are very experienced and committed to provide an enriching program through a series of principles, practices and learning outcomes guided by Early Learning Frameworks. The centre’s philosophy is that children learn through play and as a passionate educator you will engage in open ended play for extended uninterrupted periods of the day. Your role will be to partner with the team to deliver education and care which is reflected daily in their practices and strive for continuous improvement in all quality areas of the National Quality Standard. As a professional you will constantly work in positive and supporting environment. The centre prides itself where they exemplify the values that leads to intellectual curiosity and learning and foster these values in children.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood or ECT
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as a room leader in an early childhood education centre is essential. Preschool experience is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - approachable for children, parents & colleagues
- Hold a current recognised First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Qualifications
- Hold NSW Working with Children Check
- Demonstrated strong skills in planning, organisational and administrative tasks along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of: The NQS; EYLF; Mandatory Reporting; The Code of Ethics and WH&S.
- A commitment to advocating for the rights of children.
