**The Opportunity**
As a User Experience Researcher, you drive projects with high strategic value and work on design research relating to Bupa’s Health Insurance digital experiences. You will be responsible for understanding and defining the needs and behaviours of customers; as well as working with product teams, sponsors and stakeholders to see your insights drive features that serve the needs of our customers across products and services.
As a User Experience Researcher within the Digital Health Insurance team, you’ll help shape the next chapter in how our customers interact digitally with Bupa to provide them healthier, happier lives.
**About You**
We are looking for a self-motivated and decisive researcher to lead research for the Bupa Health Insurance Digital Experience Design crew.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Hold 3+ years in UX or Design Research with a clear representation of work case studies
- Have extensive experience using a variety of different online research platforms on a variety of devices [desktop, mobile and tablet]
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to clearly articulate complex information and ideas briefly and concisely for a broad audience of stakeholders
- A tertiary qualification in social science, psychology/behavioural science, UX design, anthropology, or related field.
- Have sound knowledge of design thinking methodologies, including Ethnography research method, workshop facilitation and various ideations methodologies.
- Be experienced in user testing remote or online, range of advanced UX research methods, including prototype testing, concept testing, contextual inquiry, surveys, competitor analysis, IA, and sitemaps.
- Have experience or certification in software development and working in an agile delivery environment
- Have demonstrated experience researching business-to-customer needs.
- Have a curiosity to understand health insurance business drivers and customer needs.
- Enjoy learning, sharing, and collaborating with teammates, often working on multiple projects as a time
