Future Golf, Australia's largest and most vibrant golf community, is seeking a motivated Junior to Midweight UX Designer to join our product team and help us redefine the digital golf experience for a new generation of players. About the Role
You'll play a crucial part in crafting Future Golf's app and platform, where
85% of your focus will be on mobile UX
and the remaining 15% on desktop/large screen UX. You'll create seamless user journeys, prototype new features, conduct user testing, and bring beautiful, user-friendly designs to life. As a designer with a solid understanding of golf's rules, culture, and player needs, your insight will directly shape our product and community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimise mobile interfaces and user journeys for Future Golf's iOS & Android apps
- Contribute to responsive and effective desktop/large screen UX design
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows in Figma
- Conduct user research and usability testing grounded in genuine golfer insights
- Work closely with product managers and developers to deliver best-in-class digital experiences
- Use analytics, feedback, and your golf knowledge to continually refine and improve the platform
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and advocate for the golfer's perspective
- Use analytics and feedback to iterate and refine UX
Experience & Skills:
- 1–3 years of UX/UI design experience
, with a portfolio that demonstrates mobile app expertise - Proven ability to
deliver high-quality mobile (and some desktop) UX - Strong understanding of golf (either as an active player, sport industry professional, or similar) is
essential. - Experience in designing for communities, membership/subscription platforms, or sports tech is highly regarded
- Skilled in user research, usability testing, and applying user feedback to design
- Visual design acuity, with a keen eye for detail and usability
- Attention to detail, visual polish, and understanding of design systems
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics (advantageous)
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or similar (or equivalent practical experience)
