**About the role**

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Medical Receptionist/Administration professional to join our team at a busy, friendly patient focussed practice across the road from SJOG, Subiaco, WA 6008. This is a **permanent, part-time role** that will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and efficient administrative support to one Specialist Respiratory and Sleep Physician's practice. Job sharing opportunity.

**What we are looking for**
- **Previous experience in a medical reception or administrative role**, preferably in a **Specialist practice**setting.
- Team member to join us on a **permanent part-time basis, with the opportunity to pick up extra hours if suitable.**:

- **Reliable and committed to the practice growth**and **patient care.**:

- Strong **communication and interpersonal skills.**:

- Proficiency in using medical practice management software (Genie/**Gentu)** and **Microsoft Office** suite
- Knowledge of online billing including **EFTPOS and Medicare Online** claiming is essential.
- Excellent **organisational and time management skills** and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously, within a very supportive environment.

**What you will be doing**
- Greeting and **welcoming patients** in a friendly and professional manner
- **Scheduling appointments** and managing the clinic's appointment calendar, using **Gentu** practice management software
- **Handling patient enquiries**, both in person and over the phone, with patience and care.
- **Liaising** courteously **with other colleagues** such as referring doctors, pharmacists, sleep scientists.
- Accurately **maintaining and updating patient records** and medical files. Sending and receiving **correspondence via Healthlink**:

- **Processing patient billings online** using EFTPOS and **Medicare Easyclaim** via Gentu
- Maintaining patient **confidentiality** - personal and financial information at all times.
- Performing **general administrative duties** to support the smooth running of the clinic
