The position available is:
- **Ongoing Full-time **(76 hours/fortnight)

The Learning and Development Manager has a critical role in leading Flourish Australia’s learning and development activity and for providing a responsive and efficient learning and development function to all levels of the organisation.
Leading the Learning and Development (L&D) team, the Learning and Development Manager has responsibility for identifying the training needs of the organisation and for ensuring the workforce capability is maintained at the highest level for each position.
**_ The Learning and Development Manager is also responsible for:_**
- Ensuring foundational (mandatory) training is delivered to, and completed by, the Flourish Australia workforce.
- Developing and implementing a targeted leadership program.
- Developing and implementing capability assessment and training to support the organisation’s Capability Framework.
- Evaluating and the effectiveness of L&D, ensuring knowledge and practical skills are being utilised in people’s work, supporting their position responsibilities and accountabilities.
- Developing and/or sourcing L&D content to meet the organisation’s strategic objectives.
- Ensuring staff are supported to successfully complete and obtain a relevant Certificate IV qualification, particularly staff working in Flourish Australia’s talent pipeline.
- Coordinating workplace seminars, webinars, face-to-face training, and conferences.

**Selection Criteria**:
- Essential_
- A relevant degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development or equivalent with a minimum of 3-years’ experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing a learning and development function, working with organisation leaders to build and implement learning and development solutions in line with business strategy.
- Expert knowledge of Learning & Development best practice.
- Excellent communication skills and service delivery orientated.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills and ability to handle high volume of work with accuracy, attention to detail and to simultaneously adjust to varying assignments and workloads.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment to solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated high level of computer literacy.
- Desirable_
- A carer role or a personal lived experience of a mental health issue.
- Maintain a current Australian Driver’s Licence
