**Overview**

The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager is responsible for the execution of the L&D Strategy for Corporate Markets and will partner with HR Managers and Senior Leaders to identify learning needs, build capability plans and scope, design and deliver learning initiatives that build the capabilities required now, and for the future.

In the short term, this role will be focused on the design and delivery of our Sales Capability and Leadership development programs. In the long term, this role has scope for someone to grow it across multiple spheres including onboarding, talent development, technology and more.

This role and will form part of the Corporate Markets HR Leadership team, and collaboratively contribute to the Corporate Markets HR Team that is responsible for the overall delivery of the people strategy & day to day people needs for this business unit.

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- In collaboration with the Head of HR, develop and implement the L&D Strategy for Corporate Markets
- Design learning initiatives that are responsive to adult learning principles and the Link Group visual design and accessibility standards
- Partner with HR Managers/HRBPs and business stakeholders to identify and create capability plans for each BU area, and inform the BU Training and L&D budget.
- Develop an ongoing sustainable approach to ensuring capability plans are regularly refreshed to support business requirements
- Partner with and manage key vendor relationships for the design and delivery of Corporate Markets learning programs.
- Proactively partner with HRBPs and business stakeholders and educate the business on contemporary approaches to learning design
- Engage, brief and manage vendors for the design and delivery of learning initiatives
- Facilitate small training sessions or workshops as required and where it practical to do so
- Project manage the design and delivery of learning initiatives ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and deliver on agreed business metrics
- Identify and engage with training vendors for strategic technical skills that the business may require at scale and where in-house program design is not practical
- Support the management Education Assistance processes within Corporate Markets
- Ensure learning programs and materials are kept up to date and remain business relevant
- Work closely with our Systems support team to ensure programs are uploaded and maintained accordingly in our Learning Management System

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Degree-educated in HRM or a related discipline, combined with a strong demonstrated understanding of contemporary learning design
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels.
- Confident facilitator with a proven ability to consult on capability needs in workshops and ideation sessions with Senior Leaders
- Experience designing and delivering learning programs that take a true inclusive and flexible approach
- A curious and continuous learning mindset, with a strong desire to continually develop L&D capability and implement innovative and contemporary practices
- Flexible, adaptable & collaborative working style
- Experience in designing and delivery Sales Capability programs is ideal
