**The Role**
In this position you will report to the APS6 Knowledge Management Officer and play a key role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of knowledge systems, frameworks and tools with a strong focus on achieving best practice and continuous improvement. You will assist in driving the automation of the business processes towards ongoing improvement of work practices and Training Force’s approach to knowledge management. This includes the coordinating and improving governance and reporting frameworks. Additionally, you will provide assistance in business process management, risk management, automation and policy management within the N Library.
**About our Team**
The Business Optimisation Team sits within the Business Enterprise Management Directorate at Navy Training Force Headquarters. The team provides business optimisation services to Training Force to enable timely, efficient and accurate decision-making. The team aims to identify and implement new methods and processes that seek to redesign and streamline, ensuring a continual improvement cycle is in place.
The Knowledge Management Officer will be a team player and will need to have a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, be highly motivated, have high levels of administrative, coordination and organisational abilities, excellent time management skills and strong liaison and engagement skills.
