We are seeking a skilled and experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a key customer-facing role, delivering exceptional service and support to our clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with advanced scientific and analytical instruments. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure swift and high-quality technical support and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (Advanced Diploma or higher), with 2+ years' experience in technical or customer support. Strong hands-on technical skills, excellent communication and customer relationship skills, and a proven ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions independently are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission complex scientific and analytical instruments, ensuring seamless setup from delivery to customer sign-off.
- Perform hands-on repairs and routine maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment across a variety of applications.
- Troubleshoot technical issues both on-site and remotely, using diagnostic tools and expertise to resolve problems efficiently.
- Provide remote support and guidance to customers, minimizing downtime and maintaining high service standards.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with customers, keeping them informed of progress, next steps, and resolution timelines.
About You:
- Relevant qualifications in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (Advanced Diploma or higher).
- Strong hands-on technical skills, including experience with precision mechanics and the use of diagnostic tools and toolkits.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Proven ability to problem-solve, stay composed under pressure, and make sound decisions independently in the field.
