Event Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational aspects of key programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality events and activities that strengthen our brand.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests and providing factual information about the hospital and its facilities;
- Taking retail sales and handling EFTPOS transactions with a computerized register;
- Maintaining the hospital's tour schedule through effective communication with various departments and tour guides;
- Assisting with the setup and pack-down of conferences and meetings in the facility;
- Providing administrative support to the Development Manager and AZWW team;
- Compiling office policies and procedures in conjunction with management;
- Running on-site events such as Slavko Memorial Trivia Night, Australia Zoo Markets, and Wildlife Warriors community fundraising events;
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Hold a current driver's license;
- Be available to work weekends, public holidays, and school holiday periods;
- Demonstrate professional discretion and knowledge of the industry sector;
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Hold relevant qualifications and experience in event coordination or a related field;
