Company Overview:

Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP) is a multi-billion dollar program that includes numerous Australian suppliers and international stakeholders from the UK, USA, Canada, and Europe.

We are seeking a self-motivated Security Officer to be part of a small and dynamic team within the HCF Branch. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual to rise to a new challenge and support the delivery of a major, multi-decade Defence project.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide security officer services and security advice to Hunter Class Frigate Branch (HCFB) personnel, including command and management with a primary goal to enable a strong and effective security culture.

This role offers an attractive remuneration package with a generous superannuation contribution of 15.4%. You will have access to flexible working arrangements and a range of benefits as an Australian Public Servant in Defence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor team members
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Develop security risk assessments and implement risk management strategies
  • Manage and coordinate multiple branch and project tasks and activities simultaneously
