Job Overview

This is a leadership role within the Directorate of Select Strategic Issues Management, reporting directly to the Chief of Defence Force.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team of implementation, evaluation, lessons, data and legal specialists in managing strategic issues, assuring response, remediation, reputation and reform across the Australian Defence Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective evaluation and assurance activities over select strategic issues
  • Conduct analysis and research to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead focus groups and develop briefings for senior leadership on key findings and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain appropriate processes to support team planning and execution
  • Solicit feedback from team members and make adjustments as necessary to ensure team success
