Job Role: Operational Excellence Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and delivery of service capabilities aligned with organisational goals.
  • Conduct thorough capability needs analysis using the organisation's Capability Management Framework, risk profiles and incident response rates.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in the creation, coordination and maintenance of operational excellence initiatives, including doctrine, risk management, safety standards, equipment and systems, training and skills development, and other capability inputs.
  • Manage content relevant to the operational excellence initiative and communicate with team members via the volunteer portal and other channels.
  • Establish and maintain trainer/assessor capacity within each operational area through training, mentoring and professional development.
  • Coordinate training delivery and ensure relevant administration and record management is completed.
  • Undertake projects related to operational excellence as required, including scoping, developing project plans, and monitoring to ensure timely completion.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current credentials or actively pursuing current credentials).
