Operational Excellence Opportunity

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our Processing and Logistics team at a state-of-the-art facility in Wingfield, SA.

This role offers multiple opportunities for permanent afternoon shift operations personnel. The position hours are Monday to Friday, from Thursday 3pm - 11pm, Friday 11am - 5pm, with overtime eligibility.

Whether you have experience in steel manufacturing or not, we seek individuals who want to further their skills in operational excellence. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of this role, allowing for future career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced production environment, operating machinery or working in warehousing to create smarter solutions for customers, while monitoring product quality and remaining committed to your own safety and that of your team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • safely operate machinery to manufacture steel products
  • successfully contribute to a safe working environment
  • pack and strap steel products safely
  • perform machinery maintenance and cleaning
  • use overhead gantry cranes and drive forklifts
