Warehouse Operations Manager

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimising warehouse operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will lead a small team, provide guidance, training, and motivation to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, organise, and train a small team of warehouse employees to achieve operational goals.
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, logistics, and shipping.
  • Efficiently schedule and manage the warehouse team to maximise productivity while minimising overtime.
  • Regularly inspect equipment and ensure general maintenance for a safe working environment.
  • Implement storage plans to maintain product quality and accessibility.
  • Enforce safety and health regulations for all warehouse activities.
  • Analyse productivity, set objectives, and develop plans for loss prevention.
  • Coordinate with management and customers to address discrepancies in the supply chain process.
  • Review work orders to determine forecasts and plan for peak delivery periods.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations management, demonstrating successful leadership of a small team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead by example
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of safety and health regulations
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Effective communication and coordination skills
