The role: Our Sydney-based Employment and Safety team is seeking an ambitious Employment Lawyer with over two years of post-admission experience in employment and industrial law.
Our team advises and assists a range of employers on all employment, industrial and workplace health and safety matters.
The industries we serve include energy, contractor services, transport, retail, financial services and manufacturing.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team led by two Partners, on diverse and interesting matters involving:
- Developing and implementing IR strategies;
- Advising on enterprise bargaining;
- Responding to industrial disputes;
- Drafting and advising on the enforcement of employment agreements;
- Defending unfair dismissal, general protection and discrimination claims;
- Advising on compliance with WHS laws.
