Senior Employment Law Specialist

A seasoned employment law specialist is sought to join our team and contribute to the success of market-leading organisations.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior employment law specialist to join our organisation. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law and be able to provide strategic advice on workplace safety matters, handle employment disputes and litigation, and support transactional matters including outsourcing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on employment law and workplace safety matters.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners.
  • Handle complex employment disputes and litigation.
  • Support transactional matters including outsourcing.
  • Draft employer responses to legal claims and letters of demand.
  • Review policies and contracts.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience working in Australia.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Employment Laws and the Fair Work Act.
  • Awareness of new or pending federal and state legislation, rules, and regulations.
  • Experience working independently and cross-functionally.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Full Australian working rights and eligibility to practice in Australia.
