A seasoned employment law specialist is sought to join our team and contribute to the success of market-leading organisations.
Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior employment law specialist to join our organisation. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law and be able to provide strategic advice on workplace safety matters, handle employment disputes and litigation, and support transactional matters including outsourcing.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice on employment law and workplace safety matters.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners.
- Handle complex employment disputes and litigation.
- Support transactional matters including outsourcing.
- Draft employer responses to legal claims and letters of demand.
- Review policies and contracts.
- 5+ years of experience working in Australia.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Employment Laws and the Fair Work Act.
- Awareness of new or pending federal and state legislation, rules, and regulations.
- Experience working independently and cross-functionally.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Full Australian working rights and eligibility to practice in Australia.
