Senior Associate / Employment LawyerLooking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity in employment law? We have an exciting position available for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our Sydney-based Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (WRES) team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role advising on all aspects of industrial relations, employment, discrimination, WHS, whistleblowing, modern slavery, including litigation across various Courts and Tribunals.

We are looking for someone with at least 8 years PQE, who has demonstrated experience in a senior associate/special counsel role and has strong experience working across a range of employment law and industrial relations matters. You should be able to work autonomously as well as within a team to manage a robust and diverse workload, and have experience in supervision and mentoring of junior staff. A high degree of initiative, dedication and commitment to client service is essential, along with strong communication skills and practical problem-solving skills. You will also have a desire to develop and participate in business development initiatives, including seminars and publishing articles.

Job Requirements
  • At least 8 years PQE with demonstrated experience in a senior associate/special counsel role.
