Expert Industrial Employment Law Specialist

As a specialist in industrial and employment law, you will be responsible for assisting clients in all workplace-related disputes.
You will provide expert advice and representation in disciplinary processes, termination disputes, underpayment claims, bullying and harassment, and discrimination complaints, as well as other employment-related claims across Australia.
We are seeking highly skilled professionals with experience in and a passion for industrial relations and employment law.
This role involves collaborating with like-minded professionals to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their issues and provide tailored advice.
- Manage expectations independently while seeking guidance where necessary.
- Conduct new client enquiries and develop business opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their needs are met.
Requirements:
- 1-5+ years of post-admission experience.
- Proven experience and passion for industrial relations and employment law.
- A personal understanding of the trade union movement.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise empathy and compassion when dealing with clients.
- Experience in managing files from start to finish.
- Ability to make informed decisions and resolve complex problems quickly.
- A strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
