About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at WISE Employment LTD. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering NDIS services to individuals with disabilities in Greater Western Sydney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver NDIS services to participants with a focus on community engagement and capacity building.
  • Support participants in achieving their individualized goals and plans.
  • Build connections within the community and assist participants in accessing community events, job interests, and public transport.
  • Work collaboratively with participants, families, and other stakeholders to ensure a person-centered approach.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities, either professionally or through non-professional means.
  • A sound understanding of disability and its impact on social relationships, independent living, daily needs, physical health, and vocational and employment needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify, organize, and utilize relevant resources effectively.
  • Ability to function as a constructive and collaborative member of a small cohesive team.
  • Demonstrates qualities of empathy, compassion, and integrity.
  • Possess a current driver's license and own transport.
