Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide support to participants with disabilities, assisting with daily tasks, personal care, and facilitating community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist participants with daily activities, such as meal preparation, personal care, and household tasks.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to participants.
  • Facilitate community engagement and social inclusion through transportation, outings, and activities.
  • Assist participants with medication management and financial support.
  • Collaborate with participants, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in disability support or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the NDIS Code of Conduct and guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect participant boundaries.
