About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Tamworth. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs in their homes and in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and domestic assistance to clients
  • Support clients with community access and manual handling
  • Manage accurate and detailed shift reports, including progress notes and incident reports
  • Administer medication and prepare meals as needed
  • Manage complex behaviours and provide emotional support to clients
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months paid experience supporting individuals living with disabilities
  • Cert III or higher in a relevant field
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
  • National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Driver's licence and own comprehensively insured car (preferred)
