Northcott is seeking Support Workers to fill permanent part-time and casual positions at our Deniliquin location.

The successful candidates will work in our accommodation site, supporting individuals with a disability to achieve their goals and promote their independence and inclusion in society.

The role involves providing personal care, supporting customers with psychosocial disability, dementia, intellectual disability, acquired brain injuries, epilepsy, and behaviors of concern.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing positive relationships with customers and supporting their individual care plans
  • Providing support with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting customers with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Supporting customers to participate in activities and achieve their goals

The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to promote the independence and inclusion in society of people with disability or developmental delay.

Desirable qualifications include experience in the disability sector and supporting customers with personal care.

Essential criteria include a demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our customers, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
