Job Opportunity: Disability Support Worker Level 2

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker Level 2. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our valued clients living with a disability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing care and support to clients with disabilities, under the guidance of a supervisor
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, showering, and toileting
  • Supporting clients with mobility issues, food preparation, and housework tasks
  • Transporting clients to appointments and activities
  • Encouraging clients to participate in social activities and engage with their community
  • Helping clients to access services and resources, such as disability grants and housing loans
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to provide high-quality care and support

Requirements:

  • Certificate 2 in Disability Support Work or equivalent qualification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
