Role Overview:

This role is responsible for driving business growth in the Australian renewable energy market through strategic sales initiatives and relationship management. The successful candidate will be able to leverage their network of contacts and commercial acumen to unlock new sales opportunities and grow existing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the Australian renewable energy market.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, leveraging their network to identify new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate sales efforts and ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to inform sales strategies and identify areas for growth.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in renewables and/or grid in Australia, with at least 5 years in a commercial/sales-oriented role.
  • Proven track record of driving full sales lifecycle, with a focus on business development and lead-generation strategies.
  • Exceptional commercial awareness and results-orientated mindset.
  • Demonstrable ability to build and maintain a strong professional network.
  • Excellent pitching and planning skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced customer-centric environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment, regular walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing and reaching.
  • Domestic (and some international) travel to other company locations, site locations, client offices and conferences.
  • Occasional work outdoors including site visits, traveling by car and walking on uneven terrain.
