About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Renewable Energy Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in co-managing our groundbreaking clean energy initiatives.


  • You will work closely with our Director of Renewable Energy and Supervisor to design innovative renewable energy solutions, implement enhancements to existing systems, and spearhead research efforts.
  • Your tasks will include devising mechanical and electrical solutions for solar distillers, improved cookstoves, and other renewable energy devices.
  • You will also be responsible for managing project budgets and resources, contributing to hands-on installation work and maintenance of projects, and driving crowdfunding campaigns to secure funding for new energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement sustainable energy solutions for communities in need.
  • Conduct research and development on new technologies to improve energy access.
  • Manage project budgets and resources to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective strategies for promoting energy access.
  • Represent our organization at local events and meetings to promote our mission and goals.
