Leadership Opportunity in Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating roster, with overtime available.

  • This role involves operating production machinery alongside the production team and supervising the production team on shift.
  • You will deal with production issues and escalate as required, while fostering a great work culture and team environment.
  • Contribute to project work, including installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading production teams, ensuring smooth operations and meeting productivity targets.
  • Supervising staff, providing guidance and support, and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Managing production issues, identifying solutions, and implementing improvements.
  • Contributing to project work, including process optimization and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in leadership or management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Background in Food, FMCG, or packaging industry preferred.
  • Able to work well under pressure, manage competing demands, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude, commitment to safety, and passion for delivering results.
