Position Summary The Head of Manufacturing will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Alpha-H's manufacturing function.
This role will ensure the efficient, compliant, and high-quality production of skincare products, while supporting the company's growth, innovation, and sustainability objectives.
The successful candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing operations within the beauty, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sectors, and will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What You'll Do Strategic Leadership Develop and implement a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with Alpha-H's business objectives and brand values.
Lead initiatives to scale production capacity in line with global demand and product innovation.
Operational Management Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, maintenance, and inventory control.
Ensure adherence to production timelines, cost targets, and quality standards.
Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance Uphold the highest standards of product quality and safety in accordance with TGA, GMP, ISO, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams to support new product development and operational scalability.
Manage relationships with third-party manufacturers and suppliers to ensure alignment with Alpha-H's standards and expectations.
Sustainability & Innovation Drive the adoption of sustainable manufacturing practices and support the company's environmental goals.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and innovation.
What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MBA) are advantageous.
A minimum of 10 years' experience in manufacturing leadership roles, preferably within the skincare, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries.
Demonstrated expertise in GMP-compliant manufacturing environments.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex operations, and deliver continuous improvement outcomes.
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
