Job Overview:

This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing site in QLD, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational efficiencies are met.

  • Oversee site operations, including production, quality, safety, and logistics
  • Drive operational improvements and ensure cost-effective practices
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and regulatory standards
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
  • Manage workforce planning, rostering, and labour management
  • Work closely with senior management on strategic initiatives and business growth
  • Manage budgets and operational reporting
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Requirements:

We seek an experienced leader who has a proven track record in a similar leadership role in food manufacturing or FMCG.

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, SQF)
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial and operational acumen
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
