Commercial Banking Specialist

As a Corporate Health Analyst at the Bank of Queensland, you will provide critical support to the Corporate Relationship Executive in preparing credit submissions for new and existing customers, as well as completing periodic credit reviews. This role requires a high standard of customer service to generate new business and ensure customer retention, while also effectively undertaking administrative, reporting, and regulatory tasks as directed by the Relationship Executive.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Writing complex lending submissions exceeding $10m.
- Document preparation and accurate review of completed documents.
- Supporting the Relationship Executive in identifying, progressing, and executing new opportunities for the Bank.
- Achieving targeted levels of customer service standards.
- Establishing strong relationships with customers through the provision of banking solutions.
- Ensuring adherence to BOQ's credit policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
- Liaising with Loan Centre and external service providers to ensure accurate documentation and timely settlements.
Our successful candidate will have:
- Experience in Commercial/Corporate banking, preferably with exposure to transactions exceeding $10m.
- The ability to critically analyze and interpret financial statements and identify industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service.
- Strong internal and external relationship-building skills, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Windows program knowledge.
- Strong time management skills.
- Advanced numeracy and financial modeling skills.
