Business Banking Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Banking Development Specialist to join our newly established business banking division. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Grow and retain a book of small business customers through effective leads and customer management.
- Deliver quality needs-based conversations that translate to positive member outcomes.
- Create a seamless customer experience, supported by your colleagues, through every interaction.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial lending origination.
- Experience in sourcing and sizing up lending opportunities and writing credit submissions.
- Retail Home lending experience.
- Experience in applying lending policy with prudent risk management.
- Financial statement analysis skills – Cash flow, P&L, Balance sheet and working capital ratios and calculations.
The following qualifications and attributes would be highly desirable:
- RG 146 accreditation.
- Cert IV in Banking.
- Degree qualification in a business discipline.
- Engaged, high performing and solution focussed.
- Ability to establish strong relationships with clients and connect with them.
- Effective planning and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Practical and tactical while keeping the big picture and organisational impact front of mind.
- Energetic, organised, love working at pace in a fast-paced environment.
- Great problem solver who thrives on complex challenges.
- Approachable, positive, and enthusiastic, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus superannuation and other benefits.
