About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Banking Specialist to provide support to our Corporate Relationship Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing credit submissions for new and existing customers and completing periodic credit reviews.

The role requires a high standard of customer service to generate new business and ensure customer retention, as well as effectively undertaking completion of administrative, reporting and regulatory tasks as required at the direction of the Relationship Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and submitting credit applications for new and existing customers.
  • Completing periodic credit reviews to ensure compliance with Bank of Queensland's credit policies and procedures.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to generate new business and ensure customer retention.
  • Supporting the Relationship Executive in identifying, progressing and executing on new opportunities for the Bank.
  • Ensuring that all documentation and settlements are processed promptly and accurately.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Banking Specialist who has:

  • Previous experience in Commercial/Corporate banking, preferably with exposure to transactions over $10m.
  • Ability to critically analyse and interpret financial statements and identify industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability in providing superior customer service.
  • Able to establish strong internal and external relationships, solve problems and make decisions.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Windows program knowledge.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Advanced numeracy and financial modelling skills.
