About the Role

You'll be a part of our newly established business banking division, focusing on both small and large businesses. Our digital-first banking offering for small businesses complements our commercial services.

We manage product, distribution, financial performance, technology, data, governance, risk & compliance, working closely with other teams within the Bank and an exciting new technology platform.

This 4th generation banking and operations platform offers intuitive digital banking, faster time-to-market, innovative products, offers, and fintech-like personalisation.

In this role, you will grow and retain a book of small business customers through effective leads and customer management. You will deliver quality needs-based conversations that translate to positive member outcomes.

You will create a seamless customer experience, supported by your colleagues, through every interaction.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial lending origination.
  • Experience in sourcing and sizing up lending opportunities and writing credit submissions.
  • Retail Home lending experience.
  • Experience in applying lending policy with prudent risk management.
  • Financial statement analysis skills – Cash flow, P&L, Balance sheet and working capital ratios and calculations.
Desirable Skills
  • RG 146 accreditation.
  • Cert IV in Banking.
  • Degree qualification in a business discipline.

The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
