Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of multi-agency practitioners to deliver high-quality responses for women and children seeking support through the Orange Door.
  • Support practitioners to deliver screening, triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation, and coordinated referrals consistent with best practices.
  • Meet team performance and data reporting requirements.
  • Foster excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive formal supervision and yearly agency performance development reviews of staff.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or similar field.
  • No less than 3 years' experience working in child welfare and/or family violence sectors.
  • Experience working with families and children presenting with complex needs and risk issues.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Leadership experience required.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work within NEMA Orange Door; a multi-agency hub delivering safe and effective responses in partnership with Family Safety Victoria (FSV).

Salary Package:

Enjoy a SCHADS Level 7 salary plus superannuation and the option to salary package for increased take-home pay. Based on our estimates, you can expect a salary around $95,000 - $115,000 per annum depending on your level of experience.
