About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Team Leader to lead a team of multi-agency practitioners in delivering high quality, safe and effective service responses for women and children seeking support through the Orange Door.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of practitioners to deliver exceptional service outcomes
  • Supporting practitioners to develop skills and expertise in areas such as screening, triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation and coordinated referrals
  • Meeting team service delivery performance and data reporting requirements
  • Fostering excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or a similar field
  • No less than 3 years' experience working in child welfare and/or family violence sectors
  • Experience working with families and children presenting with complex needs and risk issues
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Leadership experience
