About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualifications in child and family health nursing, who has at least 3 years of full-time equivalent clinical experience working with families in the perinatal period. Your expertise in adult or perinatal mental health, along with your ability to provide complex care and advanced clinical skills, will enable you to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

This is a permanent full-time position based at Merrylands Community Health Centre, offering a competitive salary package of $109,945.46 - $113,556.22 per annum, plus additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership in child and family health nursing services
  • Deliver care to families with children aged 0 to 5 years using advanced clinical skills
  • Offer expert consultation and liaison services for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health consumers
  • Manage cases involving families from conception to children aged five years
  • Support the mental health and wellbeing of infants and their families through specialized care
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualifications in child and family health nursing or working towards it
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • At least 3 years of full-time equivalent clinical experience working with families in the perinatal period
  • Experience working within Adult or Perinatal mental health with a postgraduate certificate in Adult or Perinatal mental health, working towards or willingness to complete within 12 months of employment
