Administration and Communications Coordinator Opportunity

People2People is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an Administration and Communications Coordinator to work in a State Government Department. This is an initial 3-month assignment, offering a competitive hourly rate and the potential for extension. The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating shift roster, including days and nights.

About the Role

  • Provide high-level administrative support, serving as the first point of contact for the Communications Centre
  • Manage calls and radio communications, logging equipment failures and escalating issues as needed
  • Input data into systems and assist with reporting, maintaining special event information
  • Perform general ad-hoc duties as required

About You

  • Significant experience in providing high-level administrative support
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Previous experience in State Government is highly regarded, but not essential
  • A valid police check or ability to obtain a national police check
  • Must be triple vaccinated or willing to get the third vaccine
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts
