Job Description

Monitor CCTV screens to detect and respond to emergencies, including code grey and black, suspicious activities, security breaches, and other incidents.

Operate and maintain security equipment, including CCTV systems, door access control systems, duress alarms, and monitor security radio communications.

Demonstrate strong technical skills and the ability to problem solve internal security systems.

Review and download camera footage in accordance with procedure, maintaining records.

Compile security audits and reports.

Provide accurate communication to the security response team, Switchboard, and Emergency Controller to ensure a coordinated response during security incidents and emergencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A current Victorian security licence with Control Room Operator endorsement.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a health-related control room environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate within the scope of legislation and maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Flexibility with regards to shift patterns and availability.
