We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Business Solutions Expert to join our team at FIS Australia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to our success by delivering innovative treasury solutions to our clients in the banking and finance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on client needs, analyzing trends and recommending best practices to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Configure treasury systems based on detailed specifications documents, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Develop procedures to achieve greater efficiencies, solve complex problems, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Conduct various tests, including system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests, using client data to ensure their needs are met.
  • Influence clients, business partners, and service providers regarding priorities and system capabilities, including training internal and external users.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Treasury operations, including Accounting/Hedge/GL knowledge, as well as Treasury Financial Instruments and its functions (Foreign Exchange, Securities, Mutual Funds, Repos, and Derivatives) including pricing and valuations.
  • Understanding of Hosted & SaaS implementation environments.
  • Experience in using SQL DB/Oracle DB and knowledge of web interfaces.
  • Background in Consulting, Project/end-to-end systems implementation as a Functional/Technical Consultant.
  • Hands-on experience in using and configuring systems.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Understanding of database structure by utilizing report writing tools.
  • Previous experience with Quantum Software or a similar Treasury/Risk management software product.
  • A bachelor's degree in business or finance or equivalent experience.
