Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team in Sydney, supporting the APAC sales team. As the first point of contact for potential clients, you will be responsible for sparking interest in SugarCRM and driving business growth.

About the Role
  • Manage lead development for APAC region
  • Research accounts to understand needs, enabling effective follow-up and generating interest
  • Detailed qualification of inbound marketing leads
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Build relationships and effectively communicate with territory sales team and management
  • Stay current on SugarCRM products and solutions
  • Actively look for opportunities to improve and optimize lead management
  • Record information and maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM system
Key Responsibilities
  1. Phone calls and emails to build rapport with contacts
  2. Closely work with the SugarCRM sales team to ensure leads are qualified correctly and progressing through the sales funnel
  3. Update the CRM system with key information and assign next steps for sales or marketing nurture paths
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience with value-based selling highly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, determined, and results-oriented
  • Comfortable working with a very high throughput of leads and data flow
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and a self-starter
  • Ability to accurately determine lead qualifications based upon established criteria
  • Comfortable learning key software applications
