About the Role

As an Injury Management Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting injured workers and fostering a culture of workplace wellbeing. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that injured workers receive timely and effective support, enabling them to return to work as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Training and Support: Collaborate with managers to provide training and support to help injured workers return to work.
  • Accurate Record Keeping: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of information on injured workers by collecting, recording, and reporting as required.
  • Communication and Coordination: Act as the first point of contact for workers' compensation claims, brokers, medical consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Wellbeing Initiatives: Facilitate communication between Anglicare, brokers, medical consultants, and other stakeholders to implement wellbeing, RTW/Recover at Work, and Reasonable Adjustment initiatives.
  • Claim Management: Manage workers' compensation claims to minimize premium impact and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Documentation and Policy: Update safety documentation, process claims, and communicate with ICARE through the Solve platform, while maintaining and reviewing safety documentation and assisting with policy updates in line with legislative requirements.
Requirements
  • SIRA Accreditation: SIRA accredited Return to Work Coordinator is essential.
  • Experience and Skills: 5+ years of experience in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, strong data entry and administration skills, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively, familiarity with Risk Assessment, WH&S systems, ISO 45001 filing, and the SIRA checklist, excellent communication and reporting skills.
