About the Role:

As an Injury Management Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that injured workers receive timely and effective support to return to work.

You will be responsible for collaborating with managers, handling workers' compensation claims, and implementing strategies to minimize the impact on premiums while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training, guidance, and advice to managers to facilitate the return to work process.
  • Ensure accurate and complete information on injured workers by collecting, recording, and reporting as required.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for workers' compensation claims and facilitate communication between Anglicare, brokers, medical consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Escalate matters to the Head of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing when necessary.
  • Implement wellbeing initiatives, Reasonable Adjustment programs, and Return to Work strategies.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims to minimize premium impact and ensure compliance.
  • Update safety documentation, process claims, and communicate with stakeholders through the designated platform.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • SIRA accredited Return to Work Coordinator, essential.
  • 5+ years of experience in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.
  • Strong data entry and administration skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with Risk Assessment, WH&S systems, ISO 45001 filing, and the SIRA checklist.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
