About the RoleThe Injury Management Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting injured workers and fostering a culture of workplace wellbeing. This position requires strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of health, safety, and wellbeing principles, as well as experience in data entry and administration. They will be responsible for providing training and support to managers, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and implementing wellbeing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and support to managers on injury management and return to work strategies.
- Ensure accurate and complete information on injured workers by collecting, recording, and reporting as required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for workers' compensation claims and facilitate communication between Anglicare, brokers, and medical consultants.
- Implement wellbeing initiatives and programs to promote a culture of health and safety in the workplace.
- Manage workers' compensation claims to minimize premium impact and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
