Job OverviewWe are looking for a driven and personable Business Representative to join our Business Development team. This role will be pivotal in fostering strong client relationships, promoting our services, and contributing to the company's growth.
Responsibilities- Drive business growth by promoting our services to new and existing clients through proactive outreach and relationship-building strategies.
- Develop and maintain productive client relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Closely collaborate with our Bid Manager to support the timely completion of tenders and quotations, leveraging expertise and knowledge of earthmoving equipment.
- Generate and manage a database of leads through various networking strategies, including meetings, referrals, cold calling, and industry events, staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Represent Brooks Hire at expos and industry events, even outside of regular working hours, showcasing our brand and services to potential clients.
- Work closely with the Plant Hire Department to ensure seamless service delivery, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally within the earthmoving equipment hire sector, demonstrating success in driving revenue growth and expanding client bases.
- Strong knowledge of earthmoving equipment and their applications in construction and mining, enabling effective promotion and sales of our services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, allowing for building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving targets, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
- Flexibility to travel frequently and work flexible hours as required, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus EAP and Employee rewards, providing a comprehensive benefits package that supports your overall well-being and career growth.
