We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Earthmoving Equipment Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic Business Development team.

The Role:

  • Drive Business Growth: Promote our services to new and existing clients, leveraging your excellent communication and negotiation skills to establish long-lasting relationships.
  • Cultivate Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with our Bid Manager to support the timely completion of tenders and quotations, ensuring seamless service delivery to our clients.
  • Generate Leads: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various networking strategies, including meetings, referrals, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Represent Brooks Hire: Represent our company at expos and industry events, promoting our brand and services to potential clients.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs, ensuring our services remain competitive and relevant.

Requirements:

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in sales or business development, preferably within the earthmoving equipment hire sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of earthmoving equipment and their applications in construction and mining.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Self-Motivated: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving targets, demonstrating flexibility to travel frequently and work flexible hours as required.
