Job Overview

This Casual educator role offers the opportunity to create nurturing, engaging learning environments for children in our beautiful 108-place service at Oxley. As an educator, you will develop age-appropriate curricula, assess progress, and build strong relationships with families. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care and compliance with industry standards to support children's holistic development and lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement engaging learning programs that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Assess and record children's progress, identifying areas of strength and need for support
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment that promotes children's well-being and self-esteem
  • Work collaboratively as part of a diverse team to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent)
  • A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one
  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis
  • Ability to provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children
  • Understanding of developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups
  • Capability to design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children
